What I’m reading and writing, April 19

• This morning on Ink-Drained Kvetch I posted “More adventures in media dog-paddling,” which references some excellent advice from Internet wine impresario Gary Vaynerchuk about becoming a Web entrepreneur. Journalists included.

• On Twitter I noted a blog post on the Chronicle of Higher Education site about efforts to assist attorneys specializing in sports-related Title IX work. Litigation surely to follow.

• Also on Twitter, I linked to a New York Times story about Gannett newspapers in New Jersey covering the Devils NHL playoff series with a writer employed by the team. An editor’s comment that “journalists get hung up on certain lines of what’s ethical more than the readers” has prompted an outcry on a sportswriters’ message board.
